Gassin
|
| Gassin is classified one of the most beautiful villages of France. It is situated in the middle of the peninsula of Saint Tropez, perched on a headland unless 4 km of the gulf of Saint Tropez.
Gassin results from the naming " gardia sine " given by the Knight Templars to the tower built towards the end of the Xth century. These left many tracks. The village kept its tortuous alleys and its old picturesque houses.
Its geographical situation is really exceptional with an magical view in 360 ° : the village dominates a landscape of vineyards, woody areas, Gulf of Saint Tropez and, the terrace of ramparts, offers itself a magnificent landscape which extends "les ïles d'Or" islands in the snow-covered tops of the Alps by way of the Massif des Maures.

On the seaside, Port Gassin is being born in the continuity of the already existing lakeside complexes such as Port Grimaud and the marina of Cogolin. |
