|   La Mole is a peaceful village situated just a step from the sea, in the heart of the Massif des Maures. Surrounded with magnificent landscapes of big forests. Furthermore, the picturesque road of "les Cretes" and "le Col du Canadel", which joins the coast, offer luxurious panoramas.
 At the top of the hill we will find the ruins of the first village of la Mole on the rock of Sainte Madeleine. The Mole possesses a castle of the XIth with a magnificent park where Saint-Exupéry has lived some time during its youth with its grandparents.
From approximately 10 km to the village there is "la Chartreuse de la Verne", a rectangular fortress which shelters, in one of the building, about fifteen contemplative, cloistered sisters, without permission of visit nor exit and which respects the "code of silence".
The Mole has an international aerodrome on its Commune, the one who serves the gulf of Saint Tropez and the stream of its celebrities. |
